Mudbone is a consummate musician, singer, songwriter, and producer known for his debut double album, "Rivers and Roads," a concept album highlighting 50 years of musical evolution. This critically acclaimed two-volume work established Mudbone as a serious artist right out of the gate, blending blues, soul, country, folk, and rock and roll into a unique sound that takes listeners on a journey from the roots of blues and bluegrass to the expansive highways of roots rock.  Both albums achieved the remarkable milestone of breaking into the Top 100 on the Americana Charts independently and landed him several endorsement deals. This success has allowed him to tour extensively, performing more than 200 shows a year both nationally and internationally in performances that range from intimate solo acoustic sets to impressive full 9-piece band productions, attracting fans of all ages.

Mudbone was born to play music and create energy that unites and inspires. His story is one of heritage, passion, and an enduring connection to the musical traditions that have shaped him. Mudbone landed his first professional gig as a touring guitarist at age thirteen. Mudbone’s time in honky tonks and juke joints not only honed his guitar skills but also deepened his appreciation for the commonalities it creates across a vast demographic of audiences.

The duality of his musical upbringing—rooted in both the spiritual uplift of gospel and the raw emotional power of the blues—shaped his sound and approach to music.  The gospel and bluegrass harmonies and melodies of his childhood laid a strong foundation, while his experiences of being trained in the vibrant blues scene of the Mississippi Delta means he is not just an artist but a custodian of the Delta's legacy.
